Requirements:
• Associate degree (AS) in quality management or a related field helpful.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong analytical and demonstrated proficiency and knowledge with MS Office 365.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ISO9001:2015, ISO13485 and
AS9100 preferred.
Summary: Assist Quality function by providing technical support in issues affecting
manufacturing by driving corrective action efforts and continuous improvement to maintain
floor efficiency and product flow.
Responsibilities:
• Support various elements of Production parts Approval Process (PPAP), main
requirement of current and emerging major aerospace companies with the aim to
drive quality-oriented culture;
o Failure Modes Effect and Analysis
o Process Control Plan
o Measurement Systems Analysis
o Statistical Process Control
• On-going continuous improvement of identifying, analyzing and recommending
improvements to processes and/or systems, including selecting processes to be
audited from processes and verify for compliance, including ESD, handling
practices, documentation and processes integrity assessment.
• Summarize SPC data and analyze for trends to support continuous improvement
• Provides floor stoppage support to identify and resolve issues associated with
materials or manufacturing.
• Coordinates customer, supplier surveys with process owners.
• Help manage Internal Quality audits schedule and perform audits with auditing
team
• Weekly updates of DMR, CAR, RMA reports
• Clear out scrap disposition DMR within 1-3 business days.
• Perform internal and supplier corrective actions including monitoring and follow
up on actions of CAR status for completion by due dates
• General maintenance of QC records including floor data Ex: ESD checklists, daily
FOD checklist.
